This is the view from the turret at the Castle that we stayed at in Pavones. It looked over Gulfo Dulce which is in the Southern Zone of Costa Rica. You could see the waves from there, so naturally I was in heaven. We talked about building a zip line that cruised straight down to the beach from here. Sadly, the turret burnt down so this dream will have to stay in the proverbial pipe, as it were.
